Our Story
Meet Rajesh Thakur, the hilariously passionate founder of WonderShop.in. Ever since he was a pint-sized prankster, Rajesh was obsessed with magic and comics. Picture this: In the 1960's a young Rajesh, surrounded by a sea of comic books, eyes wide with wonder as he devoured every story of caped crusaders and clever conjurers. His childhood was a magical mix of comic book heroes and the tantalizing tricks advertised in their pages. But there was a catch—those mystical gadgets and tempting, unusual toys were always out of reach, available only in far-off lands, to which, in those days, travelling was just a wild dream.
Fast forward to many years in the 1990s (and a few more comic book collections), and Rajesh now a manufacturer, decided to turn his childhood dreams into a reality. Thus, WONDERMAGIC was born—a wonderland of creative magic tricks and gimmicks, designed and manufactured to delight and amaze. And to bring the joy of magic and mischief to everyone, especially those who, like him, spent their childhood wishing for those magically fascinating items which were still not available in India!
